About Linda
Q. When did you first start studying Yoga?
A. About 10 years ago first with my teacher Morag Wilson and then with Anahata school of Yoga (teacher training). I graduated last year from a 200 hour teacher to a 500 hour registered yoga teacher.
LAST YEAR, I had the privildge and delight in completing a Grounding in Vinyasa Flow intensive with Claire Missingham and I now incorporate in my classes some vinysasa flow sequences.
Q. What style of yoga do you teach?
A. I learned Classical Hatha postures at the Anahata school of yoga which is Influenced by the Sivananda teachings. It also draws from some of the other great masters and of course as a teacher my own personal preferances and personality comes through in my teaching. I now like to include vinyasa flow.
Q. Who/where do you teach?
A. Community schools and health clubs. I have a number of people who prefer to study 121 for different reasons these are carried out at my home or theirs.
Q. Are your classes gentle or very physical?
A. Both so if you are looking for something gentler and slower then choose a beginners class.
Always work to your ability and progress at your own pace within the class.
If you are a more practiced student then the intermediate class is for you as it allows you to deepen your practice and flow.
You can expect a good mind and body work out, however, I do theme sessions from time to time.
Q. What's new on your agenda?
Always looking to give new experiences to students in their exploration of their self and yoga. A Restorative class along with my yogi friend Clare every few months and it is becoming increasingly popular. Next one is September and you can book as early as now !
